SBCC: 25 years disseminating knowledge
SBCC – Sociedade Brasileira de Controle de Contaminação – Brazilian Society for Contamination Control – has the mission to present to the different sectors in Brazil, the technical inputs that are necessary for the installation, operation, use and discipline in Cleanroom and Associated Controlled Environments.
The organization actively participates in expansion and continuous improvement of knowledge through seminars, workshops, active working groups, SBCC website and magazine. In a dynamic fashion, it publishes, brings awareness and provides training for professionals from various segments on the relevance of the subject of Contamination Control.
In 2000, SBCC signed a mutual cooperation agreement with ABNT – Brazilian Technical Standards Association, to house the Brazilian Committee ABNT / CB-46. Since then, it has been participating in ISO TC 209 meetings – Cleanroom and Associated Controlled Environments representing Brazil, through its ISO 14644 Working Groups of specialists. Currently, SBCC is the only organization in Latin America with these characteristics and seeks collaboration throughout the whole territory, from companies and institutions committed to quality, productivity, sustainability and innovation, in the evolution of standards and the establishment of more advanced standards for industries from various sectors such as: food, automotive, chemical, nanotechnology, biotechnology, hospital, space, pharmaceutical, fiber optics, microelectronics, nuclear, cosmetics, among others.
The organization is a member of ICCCS – International Confederation of Contamination Control Societies, and actively participates in this organization, obtaining even the right to host the world’s largest event, the ISCC – International Symposium Contamination Control in 2016. The goal is to turn this event into the largest source of knowledge exchange in Latin America, generating national and international business, exposing the best that our businesses and professionals have to offer in Contamination Control in all applicable areas.
